Punggol Swimming Complex: Opening Status
Punggol's own public swimming complex is under construction, with 2026 reported as a target but no officially confirmed opening date. Register your interest in future Swim2u lessons there; availability will depend on venue access and coaching arrangements.
Details
Punggol Swimming Complex is part of the wider Punggol Regional Sports Centre development on Punggol Field, currently under construction and not yet open to the public. Once complete, it's set to become the main public pool serving the Punggol estate.
Swim2u already teaches islandwide at public swimming complexes across Singapore, as well as private and condo lessons throughout Punggol — so you don't need to wait for Punggol Swimming Complex to open to start lessons. If lessons at the complex become possible after it opens, we'll let registered enquirers know; this depends on venue access and coaching arrangements, and registering does not guarantee a place.
Location, Planned Pools and Current Status
Punggol Swimming Complex is being built at 11 Sentul Crescent as part of the Punggol Regional Sports Centre, beside the Punggol Waterway. It is planned as the main public swimming venue for Punggol residents, including families in Northshore, Punggol Central and the surrounding estates.
Reported plans include five pools: a 50m, 8-lane infinity-style competition pool, a training pool, a diving pool with underwater viewing panels, a leisure pool and a kiddy pool. Facilities and pool layouts can change before opening, so treat these as planned rather than final.
Status as of 31 October 2026: the complex is not open, and we have not found an officially confirmed opening date. Check the official ActiveSG website for the latest facility information before planning a visit.
